Chores, Chores, Chores & The Present Perfect
Isn’t the Present Perfect a chore in itself for many students? Well, we can make it less abstract and more meaningful for our students by creating exercises that allow them to use the tense in a conversation.
I created this worksheet for my 7th-graders (3rd ESL year at a German Gymnasium) and they really enjoyed the conversational aspect of it.
With too many gap-filling exercises they often forget that a language helps them communicate with others. That’s why it’s important for me to provide as many speaking exercises as possible.
